Frequently asked questions
Learn more about the platform, credits and Geo Analysis.
What is a credit?+
1 credit equals 1 hectare of area for processing. Your plan quota is measured in credits per month.
How does the free trial work?+
When you create your account, you get a 7-day trial with 5,000 credits to process. The trial ends after 7 days or when the credits run out — whichever comes first.
What is Geo Analysis?+
It is the tool that, from a mineral claim number (ANM), automatically generates a package of 37 to 50 maps and integrated analyses for target prioritization.
Which payment methods are accepted?+
PIX and card, processed by Asaas. Subscription plans are monthly or annual, and Geo Analysis packages are one-time purchases.
Do I need specialized software?+
No. The platform runs 100% in the browser. The generated GeoTIFFs can be opened in QGIS, ArcGIS or Oasis Montaj if you wish.
Where does the data come from?+
From official public sources: SGB/CPRM, ANM, CBPM, Codemig and IBGE.
How does the platform work?+
Sign up and subscribe; upload a polygon (KML or KMZ) or enter the ANM claim number; the platform processes the data automatically; and you receive maps and GeoTIFF images in a few minutes — magnetometric anomaly, total gradient, dX/dY/dZ derivatives, potassium/thorium/uranium, RGB ternary and F-Factor, among others.
What am I subscribing to?+
You subscribe to a temporary, non-exclusive license to use the Lithogeo SaaS platform, in the form of prepaid processing-credit packages, plus the technical support for the chosen plan.
Can I buy a one-time package?+
Yes. Beyond the subscription plans, you can purchase one-time Geo Analysis credit packages (Essential, Professional and Strategic), used on demand.
What do I need to process my study area?+
Define the area by uploading a polygon in KML or KMZ, or enter the mineral claim number (ANM), which loads the polygon automatically. From there, the platform processes the airborne geophysics data available for the area.
How does the anomaly selection tool work?+
The platform automatically prioritizes targets by statistical threshold within each lithological unit (p90, p95 and p99 percentiles and z-score), separating noise from concentrations that deviate from the local geological pattern.
What is a GeoTIFF?+
It is a georeferenced raster image file (in UTM projection), ready to be opened and analyzed in any professional GIS, such as QGIS, ArcGIS or Oasis Montaj.
